Niels,

I would send you the slush if I could. Today was above freezing in the afternoon and everything is melting. Let me just say that the snow --- where it is not tracked up or turned to ice --- is sinking due to melting beneath. Another laugh for today for me, the snow reminds me of a fat woman's butt with dimpled cellulite. Maybe that is a comment that Laury would better understand, although she is thin as a rail.

Anyway, the winter mix stuff was not all that impressive. Tomorrow we will be back to normal or pretty much. Haven't had a scone in so long that I'm the one who is envious now. Going to look for a proper recipe. Sounds good with hot chocolate!

Hope you guys get snow soon. Ice is not fun, although I did get to wear my golf shoes for the first time this year. The idea of spikes you mentioned was clever. Only cleats I have are on the golf shoes, so.... Actually, took a golf club along for balance on the stone steps. Neighbors thought I was crazy but this afternoon I noticed most of them in golf shoes, too.

Enjoy the scones and hot chocolate!

Hi, the very funny and crazy thing knowing that I am sitting up in the arctic, is that I am actually envious on you ! we are longing for more snow here since we have it very cold without much snow, resulting in incredible icy streets, to such an extent that even young people have spikes on and being cautious when they walk down the mountains to catch the bus instead of just sliding down and yesterday there should have been an out door concert with a lot of young people playing in marching bands, but they canceled it due to the cold weather ! and the weather forecast predict it will last 2 weeks with very cold weather, so here are hot chocolate and scones the perfect thing to survive !
